Here are some locations that I enjoy shooting in. Photos of these spots will be posted soon. And by soon I mean when I get to it. So yeah, they'll be up then. Old Orcutt Between the loading dock and other small shops this is a fun area for a bit of a retro/rustic look Fess Parker Winery There are tons of wineries around the central coast to take some amazing shots, but Fess Parker is one of my favorites for the varity of photos you can get in the one location. Plus they have some of my favorite wine. Waller Park Sometimes seen as the dividing line between Santa Maria and Orcutt, this park can be a friendly place to get some fun photos. You can choose between water, grass, trees, and playgrounds in this one spot. Guadalupe Dunes Sand, sand, sand, and yeah... water. If you want a nice sandy beach, this is it. It's usually pretty quite too, and if you're lucky you can get there early when it's overcast and get some amazing photos with no shadows. Lompoc Mission For you know, that mission look. Shell Beach Rocky, sandy, beachy. This is a great location, and even though everyone and their brother who is a photographer use this spot... I still like it. Shell Beach 2 Now this is a tiny little spot I love to use. However you need to be there during low tide to make sure you can get to the beach and play with the rocks. Sunset usually is always a good time. Avila Beach Barn There are animals to play with, and a nice barn look. There can be crowds of people to work around, and not ideal for large groups, but still works great. Avila A nice downtown beach feel, peir, beach, playground. A bit of everything really. Downtown San Luis Obispo Too much to choose from here. The river bed, the mission, bubble gum alley, the street scene, brick alley ways. This is a great place with a lot to work out. Plus, there are a lot of tasty restaurants where you can grab lunch. Your House These are your photos, and maybe you really like your house. Or maybe you have a killer cool, backyard. Or this is an ideal location for newborn photos. They are comfortable there and you don't have to move them. Hawaii I have yet to go, but I hear it's beautiful. Buy me a plane ticket over and you're shoot is free. This goes for everywhere long distance really. If you are seriously interested though... just let me know. |
