Weddings start at $1,500.  Well, basically they stay at that price and don't really go higher than that unless there is extra travel involved.  I service weddings between Paso Robles and Santa Barbra.  However I love traveling and am welling to travel to capture your big day.

I have a very low price set because I love shooting weddings, and I think that it's a fair price for the amount of work and responsibility that I take on.  What you get though is a lot.  I'm the photographer for the wedding day, All day.  Everything from getting ready, to leaving the reception.  Morning till night I'm there.  I get the wedding schedule and how the bride and groom (mainly the bride) would like the photography to flow.  When and where shoots will take place, and what special moments you want captured.  I then work out a schedule of shoots around the wedding to make sure that nothing is left out.

After the wedding is over I take all the raw images, usually about 2,000 photos or more, and begin to sort out the photos I think really speak to me.  Once the photo's are sorted and I've picked out my favorites they go to my digital darkroom for touching up, making sure all the images are looking their best.  Some may be full color, others black and white, and sometimes a mix of both.  I make the images really stand out in a way that I think looks best, and something that the newlyweds will enjoy for years to come.

From there I make a disc with all the raw images, and the touched up images for the Bride and Groom.  .A lot of photographers only hand over their touched up images, and I understand why.  However I believe that they are your memories and therefore you should get all the photos.  I also post all my touched up images on the website for you to share with friends and family.  The couple can then take that disc and make copies for family, friends, wedding guests, strangers, whoever.  They can also go out and get prints done at anytime, anywhere with full rights to the photos.  After all, these are your memories right?

I try to turn the photos around and get them delivered on disc with in a couple weeks.  From there my main job is done, but not completely as I make myself available to do up to 50 more touch ups and alterations at no extra charge.  For instance; if you find a photo they really love and want it touched up in black and white, or done in a special way, I take care of it and e-mail you the newly polished image.

So you get everything you could ever want and then some.  And as a bonus, if a couple ever has me take engagement photos for them I take that price off of the wedding package.  I look at it as a way to allow the couple to make sure that my work is what you want.  And if you think about it, engagements lead to weddings... so why not make it part of the package deal.
