I've been a fan of music for a very long time now. I tend to fidget more than normal if I haven't been to a concert in longer than a few months. I truly get lost in the music when it's played with true passion and love. And like the musicians that play their music, I let my love for photography guide me in capturing the visuals of a performance. If someone can look at a photo of a musician playing music and feel the energy and love that the artist is giving off while on stage, then the photographer did their job.

This also goes for other events as well. Like birthday parties, baptisms, whatever it may be. I approach it in a very documentary style, much like a fly on the wall, capturing the moments as they happen, allowing a set of images to tell the story of the events.
