Melissa - "What is the name of that movie?  Russell Crowe is in it... he fights a lion..."

Meself - "You mean the one where he is a Gladiator?"

Melissa - "Yeah, that one.  What's the name of that movie it's bugging me."

Meself - "I have no idea."

That conversation between Melissa and me was long ago, but it still cracks me up.  Messing with her is just to easy and to much fun.  Lucky for me she still thinks of me from time to time, and the last time was over the past weekend when she asked me to go up to Avila to take some Family photos of Joey, Daniel, Corban (the latest addition), Joey's Parents while they were visiting in town, and herself.  The photos where a blast and tons of fun.  This was also my first time shooting in Avila, and it's a location I've been wanting to shoot at for awhile now.  So we planned on doing the shoot Sunday around 3ish, and like clockwork Melissa called me on Saturday around noon and wondered if I wanted to do the shoot a little sooner.  Like a few hours sooner.  She cracks me up.  I was free though, and a trip to Avila to hang out with some friends sounded great to me.  So the photos were on.  I got a few that turned out really good, some that I love, and the last one of Daniel staring the camera down with a questioning look on his face is one of favorites of all time.  The shot turned out perfect.  I love random photos like that, especially when they turn out this good.
