October 21, 2009 - Vogel Engagement
I get all my photography business through word of mouth.  This isn't my main job so I don't do any advertising, so most of my customers are friends of friends, or live in the area.  So I was kind of shocked to get an email from Julie about doing engagement photos for them down south.  Of course I love working with people and getting to take fun photos so I had to say "yes."  We found a middle point between us and did the shoot down in Ventura.  They had gone to the location before on dates so it was a great place to get their photos done.  We had a lot of fun, and her daughter was a blast to work with.  Such a fun couple to play with really.  They are both really into Jiu Jitsu and they meet through a class so of course we had to get some photos of them rough housing a bit.  As usual the girl always wins in the relationship.  So check out the photos and enjoy.  And if you haven't already, check out yesterdays update and the wedding photos that got posted yesterday.  Take care.

We had so much fun on the photo shoot with Donald! I was talking to a friend about how I wanted fun engagement pictures. None of those boring posed pictures. I saw Donald's website and loved how fun and interesting all the pictures were. We had a blast in Ventura taking the pictures. It really felt like having an old friend take our pictures so we were able to relax and got some great shots! My daughter calls him the fun guy and keeps asking if we do it again!
