I love getting to see an eclipse, and super happy I got a few photos to share with all of you.  Surely not the best Eclipse photos you've ever seen... but something non the less.

Whenever Alex sends me an e-mail asking to take photos of her family I'm always excited.  Partly because she always has great ideas, a bit because she trusts me to find a new and unique location or look, but mostly because they are a lot of fun to hang out with.  I first took Gianna's photos when she was 3 months old, and now I'm taking photos to celebrate her third birthday.  We took an hour drive up into the mountains to take these photos and get away from any type of buildings.  We set up a little cupcake tea party for her and well... we all just had a lot fun really.  I also came back with some awesome photos... check them out, and as always you can see all of them in the 'photography' section.

Alex also told me that her husband Matt says that her favorite photos are always the ones that aren't planned out... so Alex... which is your favorite this time?  Leave a comment so everyone knows. :)

After taking Sofia's newborn photos a couple days ago I was able to design a one of kind baby announcement card.  The best thing about the cards... they are two sided!  They turned out great, and Amanda was a happy mom to have them.  Here is a photo of Big Sister Tallia holding up the cards.

Watching a couple so in love grow into a family together is such a blessing.  I've known David for some time now, and was honored to photography him proposing to his girlfriend, then his engagement photos, followed up by a very fun wedding where they allowed me to get some of my favorite wedding photos of all time (just check out the Albert Wedding Photos).  Now the Albert's have made a baby boy due to come into this world next month, and yesterday I was more than happy to shoot some maternity photos for them.  We headed down south to find an amazing location thanks to an unlocked gate.  We had a great time, and I came home with some amazing shots that I'm so happy to share with you today.  Enjoy, and as always you can see all the photos in the 'photography' section.

Last weekend the girls and I went to my wife's Aunt's Wedding.  I brought my camera with me, and even though I didn't take a thousand photos I did a couple that I wanted to share with everyone.  Hope you enjoy.

Today I was able to meet Sophia.  She was born on April 4th, so she is still very fresh to the world... however; I think she has the modeling thing down.  Amanda and Lee are both happy parents, and her big sister is thrilled that she is finally here.  Please enjoy the photos.

I know this next photo is a mid cry photo, and even though she didn't cry very much at all during our photo session I just love this photo.  It just has such a story to tell...  I just hope you love it as much as I do.

Last Saturday was my Grandpa Ed's 90th Birthday.  So my Grandpa planned a Surprise party for him of sorts.  He knew there was a party, but he had no idea how many people would be there to celebrate with him.  Including some great grandchildren that he had never meet before that day.

One gift he got was from my Mom.  She found a LIFE Magazine from 1938 that my Grandpa was on the cover of.  In the shot several guys were cliff diving into the water below.

Before the party was done, we made sure to get plenty of photos of everyone with Grandpa.

The girls and I had a great, calm, and nice Easter.  There are a couple new photos posted, including this one.

It has been a long time since my last post in January.  However I do have to say there is a really good reason for this beyond simple laziness.  I finally got a new computer and have been getting it all set up and ready.  Upgrading has been very good to me.  I've used this new tool to finally start experimenting with shooting in RAW format to improve the quality of my photos and working on several other side projects.

One project that I have been working on for the last month I'm very happy to finally share with you.  The church I happily attend, Element Christian Church, wanted a video produced to show on Easter Sunday.  The basic goal is to explain what Elements goal is in the community and how the church wants it's members to go out and spread God's love throughout the week.  I'm really happy with the way the video turned out, and have happily received a lot of comments from people who attending Easter Service and saw the video.  I hope you enjoy it as well.

March 27th marked two awesome years with my wife.  So we both took a week off to escape and enjoy a great vacation together (We're not going to count the softball Laura got to the wrist, Trip to the E.R., and all that in this post.  Though you can check the Instagram photos for all the great photos from that event).  If you're ever down south I will highly recomend a lovely bed and breakfast, Cardiff by the Sea Lodge.  It was an amazing little place to stay right next the ocean.  Here are a few photos from our trip down south.

After our time in San Diego we headed up north to do some camping.  It was a lot of fun to be out in the wilderness with the whole family.  The girls had a blast playing in the water and hiking around.  Here is my personal favorite shot from the two days at camp.

Yes.  I'm very aware of how much trouble I'm going to be in when 'the boys' start coming to the house.
